Anyone know of any medicines that help with extremely carpel tunnel?

carpel tunnel syndrome occurs due to the compression of medial nerve when it is passing thorough a tunnel which is made up of tendons of had muscles,some times it gets pinched there .leading to the symptoms of pain in the middle ,index fingers and thumb.Usually antiinflamatory druds help , if not the steroid injections are given.but ultimately therapy is surgery.

not sure of meds but smoking advances cases usually they severe nerves to relieve pressure my father has lost two fingers due to the nerves cutting off circulation its hereditary
Ur over the counter pain killers r not effective for Carpal tunnel syndrome. and if i understand ur question right, then extreme carpal tunnel or severe condition.best choice is surgery. the Flexor Retinaculum, that is the elstic band which is holding all the tendons of the wrist together needs to be cut to releive the pressure. and this needs to be done before any further damage.nerve damage leading to paralysis for instance.
i had that very bad with my first pregnancy. mine went away after i gave birth, and i feel sorry for people that live with it daily. it was very painful. i would try ibuprofen until you can get to a doctor. when i had it, i wore wrist splints to keep my wrist in a certain position to help. it helped some. but i think for severe cases (not pregnancy-induced cases), they can do minor surgery for relief.
