growth in teens?

I'am 17 and 5"5! in height why am I not growing?my dad is 5"11 and my mom is 5"7 in height..both average in height for there genders. I feel that I haven't gone through a growth spurt yet, Am I done growing?I jus find it very odd,likes something isn't adding up should I be concerned? I also have a lot more facial hair than most of the guys at school, but they are taller and can't grow as much facial hair, I don't get it?!?..

Wow, maybe your a "teen wolf?" Use your powers and you'll be really cool. Just kidding! It's not uncommon for men to catch up later. You will more than likely keep growing through college. My husband did. He went to college around 5'9" and graduated at 6'1". So, you never know. Just hang in there. In the meantime, date really short girls around 5'.

I can tell you how to figure out if you are done growing or not.
You go to the pediatrician and ask them for blood work regarding your growth hormones due to your concerns.
They will be able to assist you and evaluate you.
Do it now, just in case you need hormone treatments, you need your growth plates to be still open.
well its normal but u don't stop growing till about 21 years old
.You have until about the age of 25 to stop growing. So don't worry you may grow or my have just gotten the short end of the heigth gene.
male are slower grower than girls.. you are no done yet by growing,it is the beginning.
