I'm a college freshman, and how can I build enough stamina?

I love to play sports, so I want to build enough stamina to stay up late even after i do some exercise. I know it's hard, but can someone give me some advice? What should I eat to feel less tired the day after i stay up all night? How should I change my habits?

Why do you want to stay up all night. Sleep is very good for you. Do you have insomnia?
