My husband had surgery to repair a hydrocele twice. Once in his teens and then again at 25. He is now 30. I have read that the hydrocele itself has little to no effect on sperm production. But I cannot find any info on the surgery could have. I mentioned this to my GYN at my yearly and she made a face. She said if we don't get pregnant that will be the first thing to check. Anyone know anything about sperm production after hydrocele surgery?
