My ex used to think oral was more intimate than anal sex, which I never understood. I think penetrative sex like vaginal or anal intercourse represents a higher level of intimacy than oral sex. If you think about, you'll talk to anybody, but you won't show them your genitals! This school of thought is upheld by the recent trend of younger people (teens) that think oral sex is not actually sex. It's actually gone to the next level, in which it is only considered sex if their has been penetrative sex involving only genitals; this means that girls will give their boyfriends anal sex and don't actually consider it sex, therefore they are virgins.

I hate oral. I'd rather have just the sex. It's better.
I think oral is way more intimate and will only give it for men I really like. Vaginal can be safe sex, can be done without even touching or kissing, can be a lot less personal. I use vaginal when I just want him to roll over, go to sleep and leave me alone.
It really depends on the person. Some think it one way other think the opposite. I consider oral less intimate than vaginal.
