why horse racing jockeys need to stand up after the horse run faster in the race event ?
Answers:
They stand up to use their legs as shock absorbers. If they sat flat on the saddle while the horse is @ full speed, the bumpin would eventually knock them off. BUT, if you notice, they stand up, but they lean over to make themselves more aerodynamic. Just like motorcycle racers.
To let their balls cool off.
Because they need to get the horse to slow down. When they are riding so fast and they need to stop at the end of the race, it is hard to get the horse to stop in jockey position. It is easier to have control over the horse when you are tall, and standing up also acts as air resistance, making it harder for the horse to keep running.. so it is easier to slow down
