what happens when something goes into your ear?

I'm just wondering because ealier today it seems like there was something crawling in my ear? maybe around it but i dont think it was inside it, but what if lets say like a moth or spider goes in there. What will happen? Thats's really gross thinking about a dead bug rotting inside your ear. What will happen? Only proffesional answers please.

Moths and spiders don't want to set up shop in your ear or anyplace else on your body. However, sometimes something like your wife's cussing gets in there; that's why it's called "putting a bug in your ear." When that happens, it's healthier to let that bug go right back out the other side!

It usually comes out your nose. The nose,ears and throat are all connected. Not to worry, unless of course it was in really really deep. Then we have a problem.
