You should call your doctor and ask about, explain the whole situation to him, or even the nurse, just to get an idea of what it could be. I'm sure that they will tell you that you need to come in, but just get there opinion so you at least have some kind of idea. I'm sorry, what you're going through sounds painful. I hope everything is alright!
you have a tail? that's hot...
yeah go to the doctor right away.
Could be cancer, you realy need to go see a doctor before it gets worse.
You're a lost cause
You really need to go have it drained.
the best person that would know about it is a doctor. it could be a calcium build up, it could be cancerous... the only way you'll find out is by seeing a doctor or a specialist.
You may have a cyst; I would get it checked out.
Paramedic in SC
You really need to go see a doctor, I had a lump on my leg and didn't go to the doctor because I was scared, and it ended up being cancer. if i would have gone right away i probably would not had to go through everything that I went through.
Good luck!
i really hope its not something serious!
I am not a dr and I have not heard of this. It could very well be fluid that should be drained. but you should get to the dr asap your spine is the most important bone in your body. u dont want to do anything to hurt it
I hate going to the doctor too, but sounds like you must. It could be something as simple as a broken tailbone to something as serious as colon cancer. Im not a doctor, but sounds as if it's not your everyday common cold. Try web MD or try typing in your symptoms like "fluid on the spine."
Good luck
You should see first your General Practitioner (GP) and he or she will tell you what you should do. First go to the everyday doctor, they will do a physical examination on you, probably ask you to take some blood tests, then he or she will be able to tell you how to deal with that "lump", if they can handle it it's ok. If they can't you will be referred to a specialist.
Could be a folicule hair cyst, or foliculitis.
Any way, have that thing checked out.
2 weeks a year? Every year? At the same time of year?
As long as it does it co-incide with a full moon or something it could be some kind of allergy perhaps.
But any unusual lumps that just appear should be checked. Pain is your bodies way of saying help me.
i dont know tha answer.
BUT I LOVE YOUR NAME!
JERAMIAH! will you go out with me?
ps. do u resemble a bullfrog?
go to the Dr. Asap thats all i have to say, it could be nothing
but just get it checked out, it could be something, not to scare you or something but go see a Dr. as soon as possible!
it could be a sist. you better go to the doctor and check it out.
Pilonidal cyst is a cyst at the bottom of the tailbone (coccyx) that can become infected and filled with pus. Once infected, the technical term is pilonidal abscess. Pilonidal abscesses look like a large pimple at the bottom of the tailbone, just above the crack of the buttocks. It is more common in men than in women. It usually happens in young people up into the fourth decade of life.
I got that from searching google, but I'm betting this is what you have. It's basically caused by an ingrown hair follicle and is aggrevated by sweating. It won't go away on it's own--don't squeeze it. Go see your doctor and if it's small they can probably drain it right there in the office, or worst case scenario you'll have to have it removed. I had one removed in the hospital last year and it was a simple and not scary procedure.
could be a cyst ?
