post vasectomy question..is a lagging pain normal after 8 weeks?

even though I was told there would be nothing different, it seems there is, orgasms not the same, achy balls and seeming lack of interest to have sex if it means putting up with pain

anyone have suggestions or experience.yes I am going back to Dr. Snip Snip for my check up shot in the glass thing where they check for to many swimmers

I would say that everyone heals and has different levels of sensitivity to pain.
I had mine 3 years ago and i had some pain for 3 months and while it was never enough to stop me from having sex, it did remind me that my sack was down there.
I think if after 8 weeks you still need an oral painkiller then you should bring this up with your MD and he can check to see if there might be an infection or something else.

No ,it is not normal, go to the surgeon, who has performed your Vasectomy.
Doesn't sound good to me. I had it done almost 30 years ago. I had no problem whatsoever. I had it done on a Friday of a 4th of July weekend and was back at work on Tuesday of the next week. Best thing I ever had done. I've even had women ask to see the scar before sex when wouldn't use a rubber. Greatest thing since apple pie. I would tell the doctor that performed it of your problems and see what he says. I had no problems and a "great" interest in having sex!! Good Luck and enjoy it!!

I wouldn't think so; and you don't want to risk having an infection down there; set up an appointment to see your urologist ASAP.
