How hard do you have to get kicked in the balls to actually die?

My friends and i were playing a game where we have one girl run around and kick everyone in the nuts (their are about 5 besides her) and the last one standing wins. Yesterday, my friend we thought just got kicked in the nuts hard so he fell hard, but he actually died. Did this relate to the amount of pressure, or did he just have bad luck?

It wasn't the kick in tnuts but that some kind of rupture or internal bleeding killed him (if he really died. Care to cite a source, please?)
