What is the expiration date for hydrocodone tablets prescribed in January 2003?

This pain medication was prescribed for kidney stone pain back in January 2003. Don't want to go to the ER just to be told I have kidney stones and later be charged $3000 for the visit if this medication is still good. I just need some strong pain medication that will tide me over until I pass the darn stones.

Usually one year after they were prescribed.or what ever the lot bottle says. So, being that they are from 2003, they aren't as strong as they were.

But, you really should be going to the doctor to get to the root of the problem instead of self-medicating for something it may or may not be.

Sorry , they're stale. That's why they have an expiration date.
