What Should I Do To Gain Weight?
Answers:
Eat lots and lots of carbohydrates (bread, pasta, cereal), cookies, cake, icecream before bedtime so that your body is not burning calories while sleeping... (What a stupid thing to do by the way...)
GNC all the way!!!
lift weights and eat protein. good luck.
Well ... if you want fat, eat twinkies.
If you want muscle, work out and exercise. Take up sports.
EAT!!!!!
i just ate meat, also if you dont eat breakfast it will actually make you gain weight over time because you eat more at lunch and dinner!
don't rush it in time it will come I promise you I was once in those same shoes but not any more.
I had this same exact problem when I was in High School a Freshman and I felt really skinny small pettie what I did was eat a lot of carbs such as Mash potatoes Pasta Bread and I also bought this over the counter supplement powder especially to gain weight it was around $10 bucks I ate it every morning and I successfully succeeded to my weight gain.
Good Luck
Put a few more years on you . Don't worry about it when you
get my age you will wont to take it off.
The best way to gain weight is to start lifting weights, and consume lots of protein. If you want to put on mass, do less reps with heavier weights. People who want to get toned do more reps with lighter weights. Just make sure you don't start out with weights that are too heavy. It's better to have the right technique first... the strength will come. Also: protein is key! Protein, protein, protein. If you start lifting, MAKE SURE you have a protein shake or protein bar after EVERY WORKOUT, or else you won't gain any weight. There are many different kinds of protein. IDS and Muscle Milk are two good ones. Muscle Milk has a lot of fat in it if you're trying to put on some fat too. Also, if you weigh 85 lbs. right now, you're probably looking to put on at least 10 to 15 more lbs, right? Well, if you want to weigh 100lbs, you have to start eating like you're already 100lbs. Immediately. About a year ago, I was pretty skinny too. Then I joined the gym and started lifting and drinking protein shakes. I increased the amount of food I ate in a day. I changed my diet a little bit. I cut out junk food, fast food, and soda. I drink LOTS of water every day too. After about 2 months in the gym I was bigger, heavier, and stronger. People who hadn't seen me in a while noticed the changes in my body/muscle. Also, it's a great idea to include creatine and gludomine in your shake. Creatine helps build muscle, and gludomine helps with muscle recovery. Trust me, my weight training and protein shakes work for me, and I was pretty skinny. Good luck buddy!
I'm 46 and had the same problem when I was your age.
I was 5 feet and 75 lbs.
I bought this high calorie protein drink mix - GNC, Vitamin World and Vitamin Shoppe has something similar even now.
It should give you about 20-25 grams of protein and about 600 calories per serving. Ask someone who works there to help you.
Here's the trick though - Eat a big breakfast THEN drink a gainer shake. Eat a big lunch but no gainer drink. At dinner eat a good dinner and then another gainer drink AFTER dinner.
The other key is to eat good foods not fattening foods, let the drinks add quality mass. I did this and packed on about 30lbs without any fat.
You should consider weight lifting as well. High weight - low reps.
Someday in about 30 years you'll be asking how to loose weight. Good luck!
work out. if you eat alot of sweets your body will get weak. if you eant weight and keep it on, workout. my friend has the same problem but he has been working out alittle bit and he is actually looking normal. he eats all kinds of sweets too. but it is not good for you.
Eat more and excersize less. It will do the trick. Sit on your butt and eat.. LOL
luki butt=)
i wish id have to worry about that=)
Many teenagers are very thin, but they put on weight automatically as they grow older. This is because teens have a very high metabolic rate and burn calories fast. So teenagers should not try to put on weight by eating fatty food, since it is difficult to lose this fat later. I found this information at http://www.toloseweight.org/gainweight.h...
