Do NOT buy any quack-remedies! They will NOT work and it's a waste of money.

If you suspect tapeworms (can look like little rice segments) or even long wormies - you need to see your doc. The segments are capable of self-reproduction and they can contain 50,000 eggs in each segment. (yeah, scary)!

Normally tapeworms won't cause too many symptoms, but in RARE cases they can go to body organs such as the liver & brain (which could be very dangerous or deadly).

Your doc will have to do several tests at intervals, usually at 1 month and then at 3 mos. to ensure they have been eradicated completely.

It is easy to re-infect yourself, so handwashing is important.
Remember to cook all fish and meat thoroughly to 150 degrees farenheit. (I avoid sushi, but that's a personal choice).

Also wash all fruits & veggies.

If you have pets, have them tested. Pets can get them from rodents and fleas and the cycle can be passed to humans.

I think you have to go to the doctor for this. They can grow to be several meters long. I would make an appointment.
