Have friend male 26 who is having severe back and kidney pain doc has only given tylenol what else can be done
Answers:
He could have a kidney stone and will need much more than Tylenol. Take him to another Dr. or to the ER so they can do a urinalysis test and determine whether it's an infection or a stone. If it's that bad I'm leaning towards a stone.
drink cranberry juice, if its a matter of infection the acids in cranberry juice do wonders.
Have them seek out a chiropractor, they might need adjusted.
have him drink a bunch of cranberry juice
What is the cause of his pain? Is it from an injury? You can try putting heat on it. A heating pad does wonders for back pain. Sometimes cold will make it feel better to, especially if it is swollen. If his kidney pain not caused from an injury, then I would suggest you go to a different dr. who will run some tests to find out what is wrong. If it's an infection, he should probably be on antibiotics.
