Question about Testicular Cancer?
Hi I am 22 years old and have a knot on one of my balls. Its about half as big as a dime. I went to the doctor a few years back and he didnt say anything other than it was not cancer. Anybody have any advice as to what it is, its a rough knot thats white and abnormally large? Thnaks

You should go to another doctor and get a second opinion, or even better, go see a urologist. Urologists specialize in urinary tract and male reproductive disorders. Unless your doctor performed a biopsy and examined the cells in the "knot" that you describe, he cannot definitely say that it isn't cancer. When palpating (feeling the knot) your testicles, note whether or not it is movable or seems to be stuck in one position, note whether or not it is painful, if it has irregular edges or is smooth and round. Also, note whether it changes in size or color. If it is movable, smooth and round and maybe painful when squeezed it may be a cyst. If it is irregular, and seems stuck in one place, you should have it re-evaluated just to be safe. It may be nothing more than a benign growth of tissue, but better safe than sorry.
it could be awhite mole .that is ok,just keep watching for new groth couse if it grows bigger than its cancerist..
