I am doing things in my sleep, and am wondering what i should do? Recently attacking my GF, and taking meds?

I've been told for years that I talk in my sleep, shout several times in the week, but more recently I have walked round the home, attacked my girlfriend, and I woke this morning to find I have taken a load of tablets in my sleep. I obviously don't remember anything.

you may want to consult a sleep therapist considering you are taking meds and potentially hurting yourself and others. Usually sleep disorders arent' harmful but yours seem to be more severe so I would talk to someone.

I really think you could use a little medical help - especially if you are hurting yourself or others - just take a little time and visit your doctor about this situation and He Can Help You - Hope it all works out for you !
Do you drink a lot? My brother always sleepwalks when he is drunk. I once found him in an ice cold shower, fully clothed, claiming he was getting ready for work. It was 4'o clock on a saturday morning. Stress can also be a factor. I seriously recommend that you seek medical advice though as it sounds that you could be putting yourself and others at risk.

If all else fails then try drinking more!
I would definitely consult a doctor or sleep clinic so you can get more assistance and insight. I would be worried if you find yourself taking random pills at night.
Usually people or sleep walk/talk have things on their mind. they might not be able to realise what it is that is making their brain over active. But harming yourself (taking tablets) or others (attacking your gf) is concerning. You can see a sleep therapist or psychiatrist to pin point why these things are happening. I wouldnt leave it though as you say, you used to just talk in your sleep, but if you let it be you could do more than "attack your gf" as in kill her, and then you could have alot more on your mind!! x please see someone
get your girlfriend to put you in straight jacket and take you to mental hospital.
