how to fight psoriasis of the scalp and arrest hairfall?
Answers:
Have it myself and tried lots of thingsthat didn't work.even Nutrogena. The salicylic acid what it should; loosen the plaques, however the coal tar solution dried out my scalp and only made it worse. Then a friend, who has the same problem told me to go to www.miracleofaloe.com and try the Formula 7 Hair and Scalp Treatment. I'd tried just about everything else, so I went to their website and ordered some.
When they say miracle, they weren't kidding. In addition to the salicylic acid. it's 65% Aloe Vera, which moisturizes my scalp. Now I'm plaque free and my scalp can breathe once again.
Try it. I've used it for two years and I can say my scalp never felt better and no more flaking or plaques.
currently im using emu oil on my scalp and it seems to help..as for hair falling out..doesnt seem to fall out as much.just keep ur nails as short as possible.
poly tar shampoo or betnovate and tar cream followed by poly tar shampoo
The hair loss expierenced is usually due to the plaques cutting off the follicle and is reversible. Try using T-Sal shampoo and T-gel alternately by neutrogena. The salicylic acid in t-sal will soften the plaques and the t-gel should slow the proliferation of skin which is causing the plaques. You can get your dermatologist to perscribe flucoucincide or clobetasol solution which is stronger, both are steroids. Try the neutrogena shampoos first they are over the counter and safer on your body, long time steroid use should be avoided. If you have access to the ocean that will help too. Salt water probably helps the inflamation but the exact reason is a mystery to me.
I personally would be interested to read the rest of these answers. Thanks for asking.
