Latpull Downs, why is it recomended to bring it down to the chest and not to the back of the head?
Will this cause injury, cause i remember brining latpull downs to the back was quiet common.

No, no, no.it's because your hair is more likely to get caught in the machine if you pull it down to the back of the head. The gym employees started this rumor in the 1980s because they were so disgusted with constantly yanking people off of that machine and hearing the screams of exercisers who had their hair caught.
Actually, I am not entirely certain, but I think that if you pull it to the back of your head, it puts extra stress on your back and neck.it feels like more stress when you pull it to the back of the head as opposed to the chest (I've tried lat pull-downs both ways myself). Also, if you do this one to the back of the head too much it seems that certain muscles in the upper back would be worked a lot and as a result, appear larger which is typically undesireable. Nonetheless, your neck and back contain important nerves and parts such as the spine.you need to be careful not to injure them or overwork them now because it can cause problems not only immediately, but also when you are older!
Again, I am not entirely certain, but I've ventured what I think is a reasonable explanation--and you've really got to be careful with your spine and neck when you're young as that can cause serious problems for you later regardless of which activity you are doing!
And don't get your hair caught in the lat pull-down machine if you choose to keep pulling it to the back of the head.it probably really would annoy the gym employees, but then, perhaps it would instead make their job more exciting!
I think it depends which muscles you want to use. I always went just to the neck, because extending further used different muscles.
