The cells may look different like with malformed flagella, or the sperm could look no different at all just not moving a whole lot.
You can only see the cells with a microscope. The ejaculate would look the same to the naked eye.
well of course. live sperm cells are invisible to the naked eye.

I had a vasectomy 20 years ago. I was told that the ejaculant looks different (consistency, etc). I saw ZERO difference. The truth is the semen is mostly a vehicle and it's not possible to detect if there are no passengers.
