How can i purchase insulin in countries other than India if i travel for business?

I am a type 1 diabetic working in a software firm. My work demands business trip outside India.

Answers:
Business trip means a small trip. You can always carry insulin along with you. But don't forget to take the doctors prescription along with you. The airport authority may ask you for.
Medicines may be costly abroad. Better take it from India.

I sure you can, diabetes is a common disease, and it is spread worldwide.
I know that in the US you need a prescription written by your doctor to buy insulin. It is also expensive. If you are travelling to the States bring a written order from your doctor!
First of all I recommend that you get a certificate from your doctor stating that you are diabetic and need to carry necessary supplies with you at all times.
Insulin is available here in Canada at any pharmacy and by law must be sold to you with or without a prescription. It is against the law for a pharmacist to refuse to sell you insulin.
I hate to do it ,but ,what make you think you can't do without it? The Docs say? ask him this: if I'm not producing it myself ,how can I revers it. He'll tell you your pancreas is dead . Do you think you can walk araund with a dead organ in you? Diabetics like cancer is a very good wey to make money ,thats the best reson of all to make it stay with you as long as you can pay [or your inaurence] . it's not my biz realy ,but If someone make money on a product ,it dosn't mean you'll benefit from it . Conclusion : Instead of insulin 'find someone that can free you from it. Best Moshe.
better keep the prescription and the medicine with you before flying.
