SAFE and FAST weight loss?!?
Hello, I am a 17yr old male that has been obese my whole life.I am currently around 285lbs. I have had enough of it and i think i have a plan the would work..MY PLAN IS TO ONLY EAT LUNCH AND TO DRINK SLIM FAST FOR BREAKFAT AND SUPPER. Will this make me lose weight fast?? I want to be down to220-230lbs by March or April of next yr(for graduation) I also have to lose weight for my career.because i am going to be an EMT-Paramedic. and i am currently an EMT-Basic for a volunteer ambulance servive( and it is a little tight in the back) so i NEED to loss wight!!

I was just curious how you are a EMT-Basic at the age of 17, when you are required to be 18 to even test as a EMT-Basic. Dude, this makes me question alot about your current question, and how serious you are really being. I wish you luck at becoming a Paramedic, and will tell you that you have a long hard road ahead of you.

Start by eating regular meals, half servings.no less than 2000 calories per day.No binge dieting
Exercise, plenty of rest plenty of work. Walk at least 2 miles a day.
You didn't put it on fast and you will lose it slower, the slower you lose it the longer it will stay off.good luck.Eating habits is the name of the game.
No, I don't think that will make you lose weight because eating less actually slows down your metabolism. What you need to do is exercise about 30 minutes a day throughout the day.. like walking for 5 minutes after each meal. Also eat smaller, but more frequent, meals. About 6 meals a day, but in smaller amounts. Drink plenty of water. :)
This is all from experience. I used to be chubby but not I am just about to a six pack, so trust me. I know what you mean.
WOW. do not drink that stuff that much (Id recommend not at all). Things that try to substitute normal healthy meals like that arent worth it.
ALWAYS, ALWAYS check the ingredients. High Fructose Corn Syrup is a killer. It is concentrated carbohydrate from corn which inhibits the electric signals going to the brain telling it that the stomach is full. Like Honey bunches of oats.sounds great but it has HFCS. Thats why i (and a lot of people I know) can eat bowls and bowls of that stuff. Think about your/normal stomach. If how much youre eating is bigger than the stomach, that means you are ingesting more than your body is capable of digesting in a healthy manner.
Aspartame and sucraloseuse chemicals to make things sweet. They are in virtually anything that says "no sugar/(added)", esp ice cream and jams. They go under names such as splenda, nutrisweet, and sweet and low. Can cause cancer and very easily head and stomach aches until your body becomes tolerant of them. That is when its bad.
Just ask yourself this question: If Adam and Eve wouldnt have found it around back then, then dont eat or drink it. (obviously fruit smoothies or grilled chicken and other such things going along with these guidelines are fine).
Also, just burn more than you eat. Drink water and pure fruit and vegetable juice that have bountiful nutrients in them. They help flush out all the bad stuff that is hardened onto your colon too.
