How do i get over my depression?

i'm 16y/o male. i have moved many times back and forth to different town and schools. more than 8 times. i had to make new friends. i still visit my friends from elementary school once in a while. i miss all of the good times and when ever i think about those memories i feel so sad. i go to a new school and i have been here for almost 2 yrs and i am a loner. no friends no1.
i tried to make friends but i just don't have the connection w/ this place. it's not like my 1st high school. i was a loner at my 1st high school then i made a bunch of friends real fast and w/ the teacher as well. i actually looked forward to waking up in the mourning to go to school. also, i miss my old house. it was so cool. it has a great view of the sunset and sunrise. sometimes in the mourning i would take a breather and just look at it. i bottle up my emotions and i drink alcohol such as rum, scotch, cognac, etc. i drink to try and get rid of the sadness. i miss those times so much. i also cry once in a whil

I'm sorry for your situation. It is possible that you are experiencing depression as a result of the stress of moving so many times. Sometimes a short run of antidepressants are given to jump start the body into producing enough serotonins and other neurotransmitters. You need to get evaluated and your mother's parenting skills are not related to your pain. Tell her you need some help for now. She will understand. Moving all the time can be emotionally draining. This can be a situational depression which is easier to treat. No one should suffer like this these days. Tell her. She loves you and doesn't want to see you suffer. Alcohol only seems to help for a little while. Take the responsibility and seek the help you need. Take the initial step. All you can do is get better. You are in my thoughts.
First of all STOP DRINKING! It is a depressant. Secondly, go see your doctor and tell them you are depressed, they will give you a quick written test and probably start you on meds.
I find it ironic that you spell morning, mourning, I guess that is what you are doing, mourning your old life, well that is what you exude to others and probably why you don't have friends, people don't want to be around someone glum or someone who brings them down, people want to be around people who make them feel good, successful people, optimistic people, you need to find happiness with yourself, then, and only then you will find happiness with others (and get some friends). Sometimes life throws these little tests at us, find happiness in being alone at this time, you'll see, things will change.
Well, truly if you feel depressed, you should go see a doctor so they can prescribe you some anti-depressant medicine. It takes a couple weeks to fully kick in like 2-3, and if that doesn't do the trick, you tell your doctor and he/she will boost up the dosage or change pills, but you'll feel better. Try to be a bit more cheerful, and smile a bit more that might attract some new friends. Oh, and definitely stop drinking...your too young, and it can have horrible side effects to your body that's still growing. GOOD LUCK!
High school is painful for a lot of people. And making friends can be hard especially for the new kid. But you made friends in your last school so there is nothing wrong with you and these kids aren't avoiding you on purpose. They just don't know enough about you yet.
Best way to get people's attention is by giving a compliment or asking them a question that you know they can answer. When you make someone feel good about themselves, they will remember that..and you.
Bro, seriously, stop drinking! You'll have plenty of time for that later, trust me. How about explaining all that you typed to your Mom, sometimes it helps just to say it out loud to someone. Friends will happen, just make sure that you are receptive to people that talk to you, under age drinking can force a life of seclusion, cuz you know it's wrong and don't want other people to know it as well. The same can happen with drug abuse. Dude, High School is only 4 years of your life, it's nothing, you have College, your career and so many other things to look forward to.
I find that running laps helps release endorphans, which can ban depression.

Some kind of exercise and stop drinking, as alcohol is a depressant
