How do you talk to a friend (guy) who you think works out too much?
Lately he has decided that he needst to "get in shape." He is eating 400g of protein a day, working out twice a day, trying to get the perfect body. I think he has a very nice body already.
I can't just say, hey I think you're obsessed, but he seems to be. He can't pass a mirror without flexing; he talks about the gym constantly.
He has helped me lose a ton of weight and learn how to tone my body so he knows what he's doing for the most part when it comes to working out. He wants to study to become a personal trainer. He reads and quotes Men's heath. I'm not the expert so I don't know how to approach him about this

Try to talk to him that you feel that he's different than usual and you should say that you appreciate him whoever he was
400 grams?! I think that that is to much. is should be 1 gram per pound (guy who way 160 should be getting 160 grams of protein). As long is he isn't working out the same muslces everyday i think he will be ok. If you don't give them rest they tear and rip and will be really sore, i know from experiance.
400g that does sound like a retard, im sorry, but serious,
wait is this Jay Culter? nope so tell him to calm down, enless his roid raging
His either pissing the protein out, or shitting it, and wasting money
girl thats his dream to be a personal trainer, and a personal trainer has to be more fit than the athlete they are training so maybee he is doing the right thing. but by the way u make this sound i would suggest that ( i no itll take a lot of courage but...) u need to talk to him one on one away from everything so that he can tell u the whole truth, which mihgt involve liking u a little more than just a friend. gud luk
email me if u want
tell him to get more social & get him involved in activities so that he takes his mind of training
Take him out of somewhere which he cant see any mirror... or tell him nicely how u feels as a friend... maybe he might get the hints and slow down the pace...
well he should know if he is becomming a pt that working out 6 days a week is not good if you want to see huge results he should cut it back to 3 to 5 days a week that way his muscles can have a chance to recover but as far as eating it is good because eating healthy is always good their is nothing wrong with that just talk to him and tell him he should look more into it do better research
400 gr seems like a lot and working out twice a day is a lot also. once a day should be enought. Just talk to him, he will listen.
He will know when to slow down
I dont see how its your concern. as long as he is happy let him be
