hi everyone! im 17 years old and I'm about 5'4'' foot tall and i was kind of wondering wether if i can stil grow a couple inches tall.2-4 inches maybe.is it possible or not? if yes what excercise or activities do i need to do or participate in order to grow a little? does streching and excercising everyday help?

Dad continued growing until he was 26. I'm 22 and 5'10, but I still hit a growth spurt once in a while. I've grown at least two inches since high school.
Growth is possible, but different people stop growing at different times and heights. Check into when men in your family have stopped growing and how tall they are. Sometimes, genetics has an effect. A balanced diet and exercise (in general, living a healthy lifestyle) can help you grow as much as your body is capable of.
As far as exercise, just do whatever you need to stay healthy. I spend a lot of time running and lift a few weights. I switch it up a bit with occasional nights out dancing (active dancing like 'Martial Arts Ruined My Life' not just swaying back and forth). Stretching is beneficial as well; if you hit a growth spurt, believe you me when I say that being flexible makes it less miserable. I think that yoga is fabulous for relaxation and flexibility (if only I got into a class so I myself would do it regularly).
I would avoid exercising every day. Give yourself at least one or two days to rest. Without recovery, you just break your body down and your health will deteriorate from exhaustion instead of get better. I might as well add that getting plenty of sleep wouldn't hurt, either.
None of this is guaranteed to make you grow. Biology will havea lot to do with that. However, if you do grow you will grow more as a healthy person in good shape.
You may well grow some more. Stretching and exercising won't make you grow taller, but will keep you healthy and strong.
Exercise & eat a very good diet - take your minerals, & vitamins, yes you might sstill grown some more inches. It's possible, but not guaranteed. I stopped at 5'5" & that was that. May God's will be done always.
Nothing you can do will afect the final hight you reach. Only doctors can change this and if you have already stopped growing and the growth plates on your bones have closed even they can do nothing (other than break and stretch leg bones slowly (yuk)).
I think the main thing you need to do is to start and get comfortable with yourself as you are rather than worrying about changing your height. You are in the normal zone so you aren't going to have difficulties driving etc so its just your self perception that needs dealing with really. I work with a guy that is 4'11" and another that is 6'6" (we talk). Of course one is higher paid that the other, has a more senior position, drives a better car, has a great wife and kids, is very happy. The other one is 6'6". Hight isn't an issue unless you make it one.
