i get a load of bad spots when i shave, what are these?
Answers:
I used to suffer terrible with "shaving rash" across my neck. Sounding like a terrible "poof", here is the routine I developed for clearing it :-
1. Use a cleansing astringent (deep cleanser) liquid. I use a Clinique one. You would be amazed how much dirt comes off your face.
2. Wash your face with a soap free cleanser.
3. Use a facial scrub. This gets rid of the dead skin, and also raises the whiskers.
4. Get a shaving brush and Palmolive soap. You can get them from Boots. Lather up the soap using the brush, and then lather up your face (not eyes).
5. Shave in the direction of the whiskers, rinsing the blade often.
6. Rinse your face well under a hot shower. It will sting !
7. Dab dry using a towel.
8. Apply a decent NON SCENTED moisturiser. I found King Of Shaves 24/8 about the best. Remember less is more.
Doing all this adds around 10 minutes to your morning shower, but it is worth it ! BTW, if your using an electric razor, you may be allergic to it. The most important thing is to change your blade often.
Hope this helps.

Don't know what you are talking about, what do you mean bad spots and where are you shaving?
ingrown hairs or shaving rash. Exfoliate your skin before you shave and use a good shaving cream. Never shave against the grain
try king of shaves and use really got water and only use the blade 4- 5 times before swapping it
more than likely a rash caused by shaving against the direction of growth, i used to get that alot too
they could be ingrowing hairs in which case exfoliate your skin regular with a facial scrub. Also you might be sensitive to the shaving cream you use
i dont know but i get them too! when i shave a certain part of my body! :0(
Well, if you mean pimples, then it's probably one of two things. Either you haven't cleaned your razor lately, and you're putting dirt back onto your freshly shaved skin, which would block pores and cause pimples, OR you didn't wash your face before shaving, which would have the same effect.
shaving rash .
buy a diff razor and cream and moisturise well
u may have sensitive skin ..just try diff stuff out if none works go see the doc ..its not life threatning
They're ingrown hairs, and razor burn. Try switching to a really good quality razor. My husband likes Mach 3 a lot. Change the blade on a regular basis, and use a soothing shaving cream like Aveeno. Also, don't shave every day to give your skin a break.
Could just be razor rash. Some men have very sensitive skin and find some products irritating.
If you use razors, I would suggest softening your beard with warm water and soap prior to shaving, then using a brand new razor to shave, shave with the growth instead of against it.
If you use an electric razor, try cleaning it or perhaps switch to regular razors.
Then finish your shave with a nice refreshing shaving salve. You can buy one from any Boots or your local pharmacy.
you are being irritated by the blades ,get some new ones and good ones not just cheap and some shaving foam for sensitive skin ,also try using a cleanse twice aday to kill nasty bacteria thats on ur skin, keep as clean as possible,u will be baby soft in no time ,but if teenage spots are the trouble as well then u still need a cleanser and to wash regulary, and dont use anything oily, eat a healthy diet,as well as this can help the skin, and use a alovera face cream,to help healing faster,
those spots are called shaving bumps. its as a result of senstive skin. i used to have lot of them but now i dont. this is what i did.
I stopped using shaving foam and shaving stick becasue i found out that my skin did not like the feel of the razor,so i started using a shaving clipper and the right shaving balm that contains Acohol and moistoriser.as it helps stop any bleeding and smoothing the area after shaving. you might want to try GILLETTE SERIES AFTER SHAVE GEL (it comes in a green plastic container).
I'm the same but i couldnt help laughing as more women have answered your Q than men. LOL
well this is cause when you make use of a shaving stick instead of using a shaving machine aside from that you must get your own shaving machine and make sure you do not share it with anyone.you must also check your shaving cream and try to use it ones in a while, that is if you use at all.another thing you have to be used to is washing your face regularly.

Unless you meant bald. That's usually just a sign of uneven hair growth.
A whole different direction from where we are heading here?
Sounds to me you have a high sensitive skin where u shave, get some more razors thats if you use them but ones for sensitive skin, and watch the cream u use too,all the shaving products are high in perfume try and get one for sensitive skin.
