I too fractured my left wrist once and it was very slow healing . A year ago I had trouble with the right and had it checked out but it was tendinitis , so about every three months I would go for a shot of cortisone and after about 4 times going for a shot the pain is now gone. So yes I'd have it checked if I were you , it was well worth it for me.
Getting it looked at is not a risk.
Your wrists and ankles are very complex structures and as such, once they're injured, they're never "right" again.
Weather patterns can actually affect your joints, and it might be that after three years, you're getting your first taste of getting old.
There's gonna be a lot of achy older ex-skateborders out there soon, if there ain't already.
