Does circumcision reduce the desire to masturbate?
The only thing left is the Victorian masturbation concern. From the television shows and Internet content here I think I could guess; but, do Americans really not masturbate?
Answers:
Circumcision does not reduce the desire to masturbate or for sex at all; it just reduces the enjoyment and satisfaction a man gets from sexual activity.
A man looses as much feeling by being circumcised as if he had all ten finger tips removed.
Even those that don't realize it are frustrated by the lost sensitivity, mutilated males masturbate more than natural males and are more likely to engage in oral and anal sex, trying to find the level of satisfaction nature tells them they need.
Just about everything that circumcision is supposed to reduce is proven false or found contradictory in the end. That includes all the claims to penile cancer (American Cancer Society said it was false), masturbation, HIV, and so on.
Yes, masturbation was popularized in the USA as they claimed that without a foreskin guys wouldn't masturbate in the 1800s. It was started by that cereal guy; Kellogg.

However, as we can see, that was false (cut guys do masturbate). I suppose to only reduces the chance of accidentally discovering masturbation... since the foreskin is moist and just rubbing it over the head makes it pleasurable... like your eyelids.
But yeah, the USA remains the only industrialized nation to do circumcision. But the rates are falling by a lot; we're following the trends of the UK, Canada, and Australia. I'm sure we'll eventually stop doing it, too. (Some states it's as low as 14%)

I'm guessing you're European and a bit freaked, eh? Haha.
And for those who need info on the foreskin:

Anyways, when erect they look very alike, since the foreskin slides back.
I would recommend that you not masturbate right after a circumcision.
That is deadly accurate Ricoba.
A circumcision will stop you immediately from masturbating... but with no lasting effect.
Mind you, if there is any further truth in it, it's hard to imagine what, if any work I would achieve if I still had a foreskin..
I don't get the fascination with a penis looking better or worse with or without a foreskin. They look pretty ugly either way, so far as I'm concerned, (even my own is ugly I am reluctant to admit) and with foreskin retracted and penis erect and ready for action, they look for all the world almost identical don't they? So what's this issue again?
It's archaic nonsense.
Well honestly no, it doesn't reduce the desire to masturbate. If your uncircomcised than you get more pleasure during sex.
circumcision does not stop masterbation. hasn't decreased none since i got mine cut. as for circumcision being 'revoked' by medical authorities. and no the aap are not the 'law' in the medical world. recently been proven scientifically to reduce hiv infection in hetro males. has been proven to reduce uti/yeast infections. and does not decrease any sensitivity, doesn't even hurt to get it done, they use anesthetics now days. from new born till adult. anyone that does otherwise or says otherwise are either going to a malpractising doctor or living in a third world country, in which case i'm sure there are more painful problems in life than a simple circumcision.
Not reduce the desire, but difficult the masturbation
no,it doesn't decrease the desire, just the satisfaction. If circumcision helps prevent HIV why did the disease start off in the U.S.A,where most males are mutilated at birth. Why did the most recent report from the WHO state that recently circumcised adult males showed a far higher incidence of HIV than those males who chose not to get circumcised. The sad fact is that those who got themselves mutilated were lulled into a false sense of security. It does not help prevent HIV,condoms help to prevent this disease.I am intact,I have never had any problems with the foreskin being there. It is there for a reason Nature would have never put it there if it wasn't needed.
