stomach pain?

i am having stomach pain now the last 6 weeks it comes and go,s and will last for 5 to 10 minuites its not a burning pain and i dont get sick from it the pain is around the belly button area and the pain can start at any time it mostly starts at night time
any ideas thanks

I phoned up NHS 24 about that one time and was told that if it was the appendix "you would know" and that you'd have a fever and so with the fever advice I have figured out when a sore stomach was just a sore stomach and not to worry

My guess is it's plain old gas.
Pay attention to what you're eating and drinking and so on before the pain.

Could be the start of an ulser get your doc to check it out.
i cant believe i found this post..
i had this for..months..still get it..i was worried it was like stomach cancer or something..anyway i got it checked out by the doctor in case it was wheat allergy..as this is what i thought caused it..but that came back negative so i came to the conclusion myself that it was drinking too many fizzy drinks..
