What are some causes of adult male bedwetting? Prostate?

Has happened 5 or 6 times in the last couple of months. Woke up in the middle of the night, found myself wetting the bed. Twice I was dreaming that I was urinating.

Answers:
Male incontinence, is not as common in adult men, as it is in adult women. However, adult men can have bladder spasms just as women do. There are anti-spasm medications (specifically for bladder spasms), on the market that will help men, as well as women. It requires a prescription.

The Dr will also want to rule out any other underlying causes, such as cancer or an enlarged prostate. Remember, early detection is the best chance you have for a complete cure of all types of diseases. Don't wait to make an appointment.

Until you get there, try setting your alarm once during the night so you can empty the bladder. That might help the problem, but this is not a cure-all. You should make an appointment and have it checked out, and I hope you will.

could be, might be a bladder weakness too , go to a urologist
BPH benign prostatic hypertrophy that comes with age can cause overflow incontinince, you need to see a doctor ASAP for medical treatment versus surgical evaluation. besides there could be other reasons that could be evaluated, feel free to email me with any questions
Maybe a side effect of medication? Are you on any medications that make you sleep too soundly?

See your doctor and see if DDAVP will help (a nasal spray that cuts down on urine production by the kidney).
Stress. Excessive alcohol. Excessive drinking (non-alcoholic). Unusually deep sleeping. Some buddy putting your hand in water..

Cut back on the drinks, set your alarm for the middle of the night, and make a dr.'s appointment.
Depends on your age, You should see a urologist. Maybe don't drink much after dinner.
