does any one know how to make a homemade diaper or to have that diaper feeling without wearing a diaper?

I'm incontinent and have to wear diapers 24 / 7 because of a medical condition.
I didn't want to wear disposables because I didn't want to put them into the landfill because they take decades to decay.
I know how to slow so I used a disposable diaper as a pattern to make my cloth diapers. I bought some terry cloth and some micro fleece cloth, about 4 yards of each. I cut two layers (one terry and one fleece) the same size as the disposable. I cut about 6 strips the length of the disposable and the width of the disposable's crotch to make the soaker.
I sewed the 6 strips tegether, one on top of the other to make a soaker pad. I sewed the soaker onto the wrong side of the terry. I then sewed the terry and the fleece together, wrong side out except for one end.
I put a piece of 1/2 inch elastic along the inside edge of each leg opening and in the center of the waist front and back. I turned the whole thing inside out and sewed the end shut.
Finally I sewed down through the center and each edge of the soaker through all layers to keep things from shifting.
Put some velcro on each of the wings to hold them closed or you can use safety pins, whichever you desire.
You now have one adult cloth diaper to enjoy. I made 5 out of the 4 yards of material. I made additional soaker pads out of prefold baby diapers by folding the thinner parts over the thick pad lengthwise and sewed them all closed. I'll use two or three of those in my diaper. If I really want that "thick" feeling, I will use 5 of the cloth soakers. Makes for a nice thick diaper between your legs.

Wear a speedo under your clothes - underwear and all. Especially if it's warm outside, you'll feel like you are wearing a diaper, and you won't look like a freak. Yes, nobody can tell that you are really a freak on the inside.
