Ever heard of bone spurs on a backbone?

What comes of this situation? Relief or surgery or what???

Answers:
You can have a bone spur anywhere you have a bone. I would talk to a doctor about it if it was being painful, otherwise I would just leave it along, I don't think it is an unusual situation.
Yes, I have bone spurs on my spine from several different spinal injuries. I have had doctor's to try to get me to have surgery, but I do not want to do it.
Bone spurs result from thebody's aattempts to heal traumatic injury Or repeated microtrauma. according to their location, they may or may not cause other symptoms.. (ie. typically, pain due to irritation of local nerves or tissue)
