38 weeks pregnant with a sore throat?
My doctor told me yesterday that labor could happen at any time now, that was at about 1 pm, at about 6 pm I started getting a sore throat. I could barely sleep last night because of it. It keeps getting worse and worse and now I can barely talk. I was just wondering if anyone here new how to quickly get rid of a cold with a sore throat and keep it away because I don't want to be sick and go into labor because of all the breathing required my throat will feel even worse and plus I don't want to be sick when I have a brand new baby to take care of

Warm tea with honey should help you, aside from that ask your doctor what the safe medications for you are - some women can't even use cough drops.
Check with your doc.and don't worry it may magically disappear after you have the baby. Your body may be under so much strain right now it can't fight this off. Chloraseptic spray should be ok to help..but again, check. Congrats on the new baby hon.
Gargle with warm salt water about 1 tsp. to an 8 oz glass. Congratulations on the new wee one!!
