If I get my nipples pierced how long will they be sore and are the rings/studs removeable?
Answers:
Every person is different when it comes to the way a piercing heals. Sometimes, it can take 4 to 6 weeks to heal. Sometimes, if your body rejects the metal, it could take several months, or possibly never heal properly. When I had my nipples pierced, it only hurt that night. By the next day, I was fine. The piercing is not permanent and can be easily removed at any time, but if it is not healed properly, the holes will close up.
the length of time depends on how your body heals and how well you take care of this piercing. It typically takes around 2-3 months to 'heal' and near 2years to become 'seasoned-well established'. A lot of the pain will come from crusties being pulled into the piercing from improper cleaning. the jewelry is removable for say brest feeding after its healed but if left out for any length of time its going to begin shrinking and you may not get the jewelry back in.
They will be sore for about a week. After that, they will be super sensitive in a good way. For the first two months afterwards, I could be walking down the street and become aroused by my shirt touching them. I highly suggest getting them done! You won't regret it!
BTW, you can get either studs or rings. I just changed mine from rings to studs because you can attach other jewelry to the studs.
