Basically, I need as many reasonable answers as possible, Help?

I have a knee injury called Patella Femoral Syndrome or more commonly known as Runner's Knee.
For the past 3 days I've doing the normal treatment for Runner's Knee:
Icing my right knee, wearing knee braces for 8 hours a day, and doing about 30 straight leg daily.

BUT my knee cap (right) is swollen; there is NO pain though.
Is this normal for my Patella (knee Cap) to be swollen?

Any advice you have will be well received, Thanks all

Answers:
yes, instead of you wearing a brace you need to wak around like normal it will hurt but the swelling will go down. also try to put a warm pack ion it every two hours. if you don't have a warm pack use somthing that will stay warm for about 20 mins. any more questions email me at llamaboy39@yahoo.com- Mikeyman out
my patella tendon is loose and sometimes pops out of place and then back in. when it pops out my knee swells 3x it size and i have no pain so as far as i can tell this is normal.
go to your bone specialist and tell him whats going you might need a hydrocortizone shot.but first he he x-ray it to see why its swelling then he'll go from there
no it is not normal and you might need to have it drained
yes it is normal, keep doing the treatments and also you might want to schedule a massage, a specific type of massage called manual lymph drainage, it moves fluid and inflammation out of injured areas, as well as other things.
