The main thing is do not ignore the pain! Seek medical attention, pain is your signal that something is not right! Seek answers and stress is rarely a cause for pain in the left side of the chest only. Learn to take your own pulse at your rest or purchas a cheap wrist device that monitors your blood pressure and pulse.
