Does it bother you that your spouse, b/f, g/f smokes (smoked) cigarettes? Have you convinced them to quit?

Help! Want my husband to quit, but don't want to nag!

my bg smoked. it drove me nuts. I simply told him that i wouldnt kiss him anymore if he continued. he quit cold turkey and told me he was sorry that he had dissapointed me.

My husband (b/f at the time) quit about 2 months after we started seeing each other. I didn't nag or anything. I think it was the fact that every time I kissed him I'd make a very subtle face. I never said anything, but damn I'm glad he quit. What a nauseating habit. Good luck
Yes it would bother me because 2nd hand smoking is more dangerous to the person smelling it then to the person whi is smoking it. If he smokes around you, then its like you are smoking too cause you are inhaling the smoke.
YES! My boyfriend used to smoke cigars, but I told him that I hated it and asked him to stop. He did so, and never once complained.
Yes, it bothers me!! It really bothers me now since we are in a tight right now and he is paying $ 3.00 per pack for some cigarettes! I used to drink coke all the time and i told him that i would quit drinking coke if he would stop smoking-but it did not work and he did not quit. So, no i don't know what you should do.
