Believe me, this is not something you want to do. I have a f*cked up ankle from a car accident, that was in 1981. You have no idea the problems you will have in the future. Do not do it!
a sledge hammer would probably do the trick
it would hurt but stand on something and have someone there to catch you-after you drop down on your foot while holding it flexed to the side-come down right on the ankle.does a bone really need broken, how about just wrap it and pretend, if possible fein food poisoning for two days.what you didnt spew out one end came out the other-the next day your body just ached from dehydration. dont break yourself,lie smarter!
Actually, breaking your ankle intentionally is extremely stupid in it's own right, so...

Try dropping a 22 pound sledge hammer on it from about 5 feet in the air. This should do the trick.

a simple twist while you take a step can crack a bone. all in the way you do it. now if you want bone showing, then i recommend a sledge hammer. one quick swing and away to the hospital you will go. Oh, did i mention the sledge method can result in permanent damage and a possible loss of limb?

You can get hairline fractures from jogging on cement or dancing on floors that are not meant for dancing (like a cememt floor or they type of floors you will find in a multipurpose room). I teach a dancer that injured herself this way (her ankle). Lots of dancers fracture toes this way. Also, if you do not have strong ankles (most people do not because they don't walk in fields on a regular basis..mostly smooth sidewalks) then you can twist it bad enough to break it when you trip while wearing high heels of flip flops (or any other shoes for that matter).
why would you want to.it's extremely painful no matter how you break it

do a running-front hand spring and land on the side of ur foot, it broke a bone in my ankle, if u want it to brake the whole thing then totally land on it, i just kinda landed on it then sat down, but yah good luck with ur mission!
they say if u put your two feet up your rear end and walk on your knees it might work ..good luck
