Has anyone out there tried cymbalta?
I would love to hear from someone who has taken it, and how they liked it, plus side effect, gain weight, lost weight, ect.
Thanks to all who answer

I have just started taking Cymbalta about 3 weeks ago for nerve pain. I haven't had too many side effects-I am a little nauseous from time to time, but nothing major. I have heard that if there is any weight issue that people generally lose weight when taking Cymbalta. So far I haven't had a change either way. Also, it has done more to help my nerve pain than any other drug. One word of caution is that it is expensive and many insurers (such as the Blues) don't offer much reimbursement. So far I've been using free samples.
I am on cymbalta.supposedly it is suppose to help depression,
and pain from fybromyalgia. Personally I cant tell if its doing anything
I haven't, but my best friend has begun taking it. Her doctor prescribed it only about a week & a half ago, so all I can really say so far is that it's helping her panic attacks & it isn't interacting badly with the other meds she has to take.
She's calmer & more clear of mind & she says that she feels much better. As for side effects..I'm sorry, I can't really answer that yet, but she'd not gained or lost in the short time she's been on it.
i've been on it for 2 months after taking zoloft - i can say it helped my nerve pain very well - as for the depressive part - it's about the same as anything else i've tried - side effects for me are dry mouth, constipation - which aren't bad, only sometimes.
Good luck!!
