Why do hard boiled eggs cause gas?

Scrambled, fried, and poached eggs don't. What is it about the boiling process that causes it?
Answers:    It is the sulfur in the eggs. Sulfur is actually good for most folks, but it does cause lots of gas.
I love both plain boiled eggs and deviled eggs, too, darn it!
Good luck
Hard boiled eggs don't cause gas so if they do for you then it must just be the way your system reacts to hard boiled eggs.
