Is there a Skin reaction to paint thinner?

I just got my handks soak on it by accident . They are feeling weird.

I used to work with laquer thinner every day. Wash my hands in it. I used to do auto body repair. my hands used to be dirty with paint, & I'd wash them with thinner. Then go wash with soap. I never had problems with thinner.
It does deteriorate skin and if left on long enough it will give you chemical burns. The tingling your felling will go away but that's your body telling you something isn't right. What you'll basically experience for what you did is a little bit of dryness in the skin of your hands. Nothing to panic over though.
