i have a very tiny white spot on my cornea. Is it cause for concern? And can i ever wear contacts again?
Answers:
I also have that problem right now. Yesterday, i went to my opthalmologist, and she told me that i have an infection, she didn't say exactly what this is but the cause of this infection is because of contacts, she prescribed me to buy this eye drop for eye infections like conjunctivitis, etc. one drop every 4 hours. I just hope it works. And oh! she told me not to wear my contacts for 2 weeks.
are you positive it is not on your contact? Does it hurt, maybe it is a particle of dust.
You need to see your Doctor. Your doctor can tell you if it is normal or if you need to see an ophthalmologist. After you find out about the bump then you can find out if you can wear contacts. See your doctor right away.
depending on your age and family history it could be many different things. It could be a stye or beginning cateracts among other things. You need to see a doctor to find out though.
You won't know about being able to continue to wear contacts unless you find out what it is and consult your doctor first.
