I need your help, serious answers only please.?
I am a very clean person. I have great oral health. I floss and brush daily. Every morning I have a thick film on the inside of my lips and on my tongue. What is this?
Answers:
To me it sounds like cotton mouth that is sometimes caused by not drinking enough water, or even can be from having allergies. If you have allergies, sometimes certain meds actully cause dry mouth. but sometimes meds will actully help with it. Hope this helped a little bit.
Ewwwwww....I don't think I want to know.
Might wan't to get your stomach checked
You need to drink more water and before you go to bed use a mouthwash to kill bacteria in your mouth, It sounds like you have a lot of plaque.
its any thing you need to be worried about, its probably from your saliva
it's just plauqe
it's normal, just try to drink more water through the day and before you sleep.
I agree with the other answers that it's nothing to worry about. Try brushing your teeth before you goto bed.
Nothing serious especially if you sleep with your moth open or breathe through it is is most likely desicated salivary amylase and ptyalin hope this aleviates your concern a good drink of water or mouthwash will fix it right up Gorbalizer
It could be from several things- from breathing all night with your mouth open, to sinus drainage problems, allergies, thrush. I am sure there are others. I would ask my general doctor or dentist, and let them get a look at your mouth, etc. to rule out any problems.
There's no way for anyone to tell, for sure, what that thick film is without inspecting it.
Are you brushing, flossing, and scraping your tongue twice a day (morning and night)? Try that if you're not.
(And if you're not using a tongue scraper. Know this: I use one and that alone revolutionized my oral hygene regimen. You'll be surprised at how clean your tongue wasn't when you first start using a tongue scraper. So brush, floss, and use a tongue scraper twice a day and lets see what happens.)
