I always answer people' knee questions on here as I just had my 13th surgery so I am a seasoned knee injury veteran. And I will tell you what I tell everyone else. See an orthopedic (bone and joint) doctor. He/she will discuss your symptoms with you and take xrays and an mri scan. The xrays will probably show nothing, but the mri will give you your answers. The knee is a very complicated joint with 4 main ligaments and tons of cartilage including the meniscus. People on AnyQA.com will give you their best guess and say "I had the same thing!" or 'it's nothing" but you will never know without getting images of your knee taken. I am very knowledgeable on the subject, but I wouldn't begin to tell you what is going on without looking at images of your knee. So please, see a doctor and get it checked out.the earlier the better.you do not want to be like me and have 13 surgeries and huge scars...trust me. I was 12 when I started having catching and pain in my knee and found out I had cartilage damage from playing softball. Skiing is very bad on the knees, so you could have injured something. Please see the doctor. Good luck to you.
I doubt it is to be honest. i'm 17 and if i kneel down my left knee always cracks and clicks and my ankle does the same. both my wrists also click. if its not causing u any pain then theres nothing to worry about but to put your mind at rest go see a doctor
If there is any pain with the clicking than you should really go see a doctor about it.

Otherwise,I wouldn't really worry.
You probably have "slack patellas".Look it up and put thy mind at rest. There is no arthritis here.
I really wouldn't worry about it unless it causes you pain or discomfort. My knee pops and clicks all the time but I can move around just fine. Go see a doctor if your really worried about it.
go to a doctor
um i was on crutches for 6 weeks and now my wrist has a perminant click when i rotate it and i asked a doc about it and she said it was normal so maybe its just from the way u were skiing or something hope i helped
im 12 and i have the same thing and all that is happening is from where you have been doing active things your legs are getting stronger and your bones are rubbing together which causes the clicking.
