A foot doctor is a podiatrist. Is there a hand doctor? What is the specialty called?
Answers:
Doctors who specialize is hands are orthopedic (bone) Doctors that specialize and only do hands. No fancy name for them. My orthopedic doctors as well as other doctors specialize in a certain part of the body. Science and medicine is so vast that one doctor can not know everything. So as time goes you will see more and more specialists.
There's a good clinic in Baltimore that specializes in..
I don't believe there is a term similiar to podiatry for the feet.
I have been to a hand specialist. I do not think there is a term for it. It was a good thing I went to him. He took the splint off my finger almost immediately, that my regular doctor had put on it. He was great Dr.Sheppler,Vienna,Va.

If there is no broken hand involved, nor fingers. it would be a
