For bout 1 or 2 wks. after Colonscopy- was the itching pinworms OR--read on>?

itched around anus - off and on several times after above (colonscopy); could it have been pinworms OR was / is it;
hemmoroids? any help; no itching in bout 2 weeks now; hope whatever it was IS now gone ?

Sounds like you had an allergic reaction to the lubricant that they used to insert the scope. It is normal. If you have to ever have another one.let your doctor know about the symptoms that you had with the last one.they will be able to give you something else to help or use a different lubricant.
