has anyone had a "QUIN" heart by pass, this involves 5 arteries being replaced. PLEASE SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY.

Answers:
I've had the triple artery bypass, and I should imagine that a quad or quin would be a very similar procedure, just a couple more pipes to stitch in place. You'll need 3 months to even start feeling better after, and your chest will ache as they have to cut the ribcage to get to the heart., you certainly won't want to cough or sneeze for a few weeks afterwards! You'll also have other parts of the body that will have been cut in order to supply the necessary arteries/veins for the implants. Mine came from my lower left leg, and I have an 18" scar there.

I've heard of it. Now what's your question?
No, but have taken care of many patients who have had such. Did you want more than yes and no answers?
yes my dad did 5 years ago and recovering well, quite traumatic though and hope you wont be going through it , if you are good luck!
Do you mean "Quinn"?
In the mid-1990s, Quinn was one of the first heart surgeons in the state to install pumps in patients who were waiting for heart transplants.
Last year, he was one of the first to use a robotic device to operate on heart patients - a less invasive practice than traditional surgery, allowing patients to recover in half the time.
He is even a go-to surgeon for what's called "bloodless medicine." Jehovah's Witnesses, who believe that blood is sacred, seek out surgeons like Quinn, who are trained to operate without blood transfusions.
There are not five major arteries in the heart. What gives?
My grandma has. She is still alive. So what is your question, please?
