Is it common if you have hepc to have nose bleeds?
Answers:
i think it's pretty common.ever see that csi episode where that guy with hep c blew nose blood all over his apartment walls because he was mad at the landlord?
There must be dilated veins in the esophagus for hepatitis C patients. It is common that such dilated veins will rupture and vomit blood. Please admit the patient in the hospital immediately and dilated veins in the esophagus examined through the gastroscope.
Please see the webpages for more details on Hepatitis C.
That depends on several things. What drugs are you on for the disease, and how far has it progressed?
For the disease alone, that would indicate pretty severe malfunction of the liver, as several of the compounds in the coagulation cascade are manufactured in the liver.
If you are on medications, and your liver disease is not that severe as yet, it might be a side effect of the meds. There are also the usual reasons for nosebleed.
You don't mention how frequent or how severe the nose bleeds are or whether you have had them before you got hepatitis.
If they are bad, you probably should contact your doctor.
