If a cow has HIV, and you eat beef coming from that cow. Will you get HIV ?

Answers:
no because cows dont carry HIV...and if they did and you cooked the meat properly it (HIV) wouldnt survive...

HIV originally came from monkeys. So if you eat monkey, cook it all the way.
No, but you might get mad cow disease.
No, the H in HIV stands for human, thus it is a disease specific to humans. Although, it does date back to monkeys, not sure why, but I have heard a similiar question asked before about animals and HIV and that was the answer given.
red doesnt know the scientific theory of human evolution. well as i was told by a few aids specialists who have talked to our health classes, aids cannot be transmitted to animals, some genetic thing doesnt allow the animal body to carry it i fell asleep through the lecture so i dont recall what exactly.
however the theory about monkeys carrying the diseas can be true if you look at things from the scienticic view of humans evolving from primates, we would have some of the same inner working allowing our viruses and theirs to inter-connect
Did the farmer have aids first?
