I have a mark on my back that is irregular in shape and color. It sometimes disappears?

The mark on my back is irregular in shape. It is dark brown and sometimes a litte red with a little blue. I don't seem to have a mole at the site. Its the size of 1/2 of a small paper clip

My husband had a mark on his face that was dark red/purple. It would appear and disappear as well. I had him go to the doctor (I had to make the app. lol) and the dr said it was melanin that was from age and it was precancerous. Meaning benign now, could be something later. The dr. froze it off and he does not have a scar or anything on his face. Yours sounds a little different with the blue..I would just have the dr look at it. It is an easy fix to a potentially serious problem (melanoma)
Go to the doctor as it can be skin cancer.
You could have melanoma a form of skin cancer, which is the most common form of skin cancer. My mother had 3 times, but they were found in time, and were surgically removed. She never wore sunscreen, so you should def. go to the doctor. especially if you lived a similar lifestyle (meaning: no sunscreen, and constantly in the sun).
