Why do people get allergies?

The body's immune system reacts to anything that enters the body without the body knowing. When pollen or another objects enters the body, it reacts like it is a bacteria or virus that can cause disease. Think of an allergic reaction like a false alarm to a fire drill, but everybody needs to leave the building and line up anyways.

Because it takes a while to get used to get used to the new smells that come in the spring. If you are talking about people that are allergic to cats and stuff then I don't know. But I hate people that are allergic to pets...I am allergic to people that are allergic to pets!
